Welcome to BuzzAhh — your town's local marketplace. These Terms are a plain-language agreement between you and us. Please read them; by using BuzzAhh you agree to them.

1Who we are & acceptance

BuzzAhh (the "Service") is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY] ("BuzzAhh", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, posting, messaging, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Community Rules and Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use BuzzAhh.

2Who can use BuzzAhh

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account details current.
• You're responsible for everything that happens under your account — keep your password secure. One account per person.
• You'll comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws when using the Service.

3What BuzzAhh is — and isn't

BuzzAhh is a venue that helps neighbors discover and connect around local goods, services, rentals, and spaces. We are not a buyer, seller, renter, service provider, broker, agent, or party to any transaction between members.

• We do not own, create, inspect, vet, endorse, or guarantee any listing, item, service, rental, space, or user.
• Payments happen directly between members (e.g., Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or cash). BuzzAhh never holds, processes, or transfers your money. There is no escrow and no buyer or seller protection.
• Any deposit, "hold," booking, or rental arrangement is made directly between members and is your responsibility to negotiate and honor.
• You transact at your own risk. Meet in safe, public places; bring a friend; inspect items and verify services before paying; and trust your instincts.

4Your listings & content

You are responsible for what you post. By listing or posting, you represent that the content is accurate, that you have the right to sell, rent, or offer it, and that it doesn't violate any law or anyone's rights. We may remove content or limit features at our discretion, but we have no obligation to monitor content.

5Prohibited items

You may not list, sell, rent, or offer:

• Anything illegal, stolen, counterfeit, recalled, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives.
• Drugs, controlled substances, alcohol, tobacco, vapes, or prescription/medical items.
• Hazardous materials, or live animals where prohibited by law.
• Adult or sexually explicit material or services.
• Anything else that's unsafe, deceptive, or violates applicable law.

6Prohibited conduct

• Fraud, scams, deceptive pricing, or misrepresenting yourself, your items, or your services.
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination against anyone.
• Spam, unsolicited advertising, or repetitive/irrelevant posting.
• Impersonating others, or posting someone's private or personal information without consent.
• Scraping, automating, hacking, or interfering with the Service or other members.

7Services, rentals & spaces

• Services: Providers are independent — they are not employed by, partnered with, or endorsed by BuzzAhh. Any badges (e.g., "licensed," "insured") are self-declared by the provider and not verified by us.
• Rentals: Rental terms and any security deposit are arranged directly between members. Returning items in agreed condition and refunding deposits is between you and the other member.
• Rooms & spaces: These are informal local listings, not formal leases. You are responsible for complying with applicable housing, lease, short-term-rental, permit, tax, and fair-housing laws.

8The Buzz (community wall)

Posts and replies in "the Buzz" are public and must follow our Community Rules. We may moderate, remove, or rate-limit content and accounts to keep the community safe and on-topic.

9Your content license

You keep ownership of the content you post. You grant BuzzAhh a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and promote your content within and in connection with the Service (for example, showing your listing in the feed or a share preview). This license ends when you delete the content, except for reasonable backups or where it's already been shared.

10Suspension & termination

You may stop using BuzzAhh at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or remove your account or content if you violate these Terms or our Community Rules, or to protect the Service or its members.

11Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any listing, member, item, service, or transaction will meet your expectations. We are not responsible for the conduct of any member or the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of anything listed.

12Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuzzAhh and [LEGAL ENTITY] will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any disputes, losses, injuries, or damages arising from transactions or interactions between members, your use of the Service, or content posted by others. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

13Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BuzzAhh and [LEGAL ENTITY] from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, your transactions with other members, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

14Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use BuzzAhh after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
